TechSew 2700 Zipper Foot No Clearance

Recommended Posts

The zipper foot I received with my 2700 order does not work.  There is no clearance for the feet to pass each other. I have emailed Ron of Techsew a couple of times but no response.  Attached photos show zipper foot and regular foot.  Both attached to new Techsew 2700. See the zipper feet cannot pass, no clearance. Do you guys have suggestions.

Definitely call Ron.    The outside presser foot that you received does not fit the inner presser foot.  You should have got a different inner presser foot as well..  These are normally but not always sold in pairs.

PM did not work, probably user error.  I called Ron.  First time talking to him very nice guy, said replacement left toe zipper foot is in the mail.  Thank you.

These things happen unfortunately.

20 seconds on a bench grinder would get you going in an emergency

I received a replacement left toe zipper foot 09May just 6 days after posting the problem. I have not tried it yet, am in the middle of building an alligator (embossed cow hide) motorcycle seat.  Awesome response, thanks Ron.
