Members plinkercases Posted May 29, 2016 Members Report Posted May 29, 2016 Yes very nice. Keep them coming. Are you machine or hand stitching? Quote
Members Forester Posted May 29, 2016 Author Members Report Posted May 29, 2016 Every thing I make is hand stitched, thanks for the nice comments. Regards Forester Quote
Members plinkercases Posted May 29, 2016 Members Report Posted May 29, 2016 Your stitching is excellent. Are you doing this as a hobby or full time? You are putting out some amazing work and if hand stitched you are putting in some amazing time. Well done. Quote
Members Forester Posted May 29, 2016 Author Members Report Posted May 29, 2016 I only do leatherwork as a hobby, weekends and nights after work. But I would like to make a living from it, its just a case of getting better a what I do to get my name out there. Same as anybody you have to start some where. I sell a lot of small items on ebay, such as sheaths for multi tools, not had any bad comments yet. But I really like making holsters and gun belts (Western rigs). I think if I lived in the USA I would be selling more rigs, but hey that's life. And thanks for the nice comments again. Regards Forester Quote
Members plinkercases Posted May 29, 2016 Members Report Posted May 29, 2016 Sounds like we are in the same place re this being a Jobby... hobby that pays for itself (almost). When I started a few years ago I either had or was able to make more time for it but the 1.5 years it seems family, work, church and a more recent shooting hobby take up more time than before and I have not gotten nearly as much bench time. But now I actually get paid holidays so I plan to take a day or two now and then for some leather me time. Keep up to great work and postings it is inspiring me. Quote
