Hi folks,

I have an Adler 467 that I desperately need a new hand wheel for as the old one is broken, I've had zero luck hunting one down except through Adler and they seemed to want about $350 for the part (assuming it's the right part as the diagram was super confusing and the guy didn't seem to understand what I was asking for).

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Seems that I had sourced that replacement for you, and it wasn't nearly that much. I'm thinking your price is for the pulley and everything. It's just the plastic piece screwed to the end of the hand wheel that you need. I'll see if I have that part number somewhere still.

Don´t know how it looks and what the shaft diameter is but maybe you can try a different brand hand wheel with either similar shaft bore diameter of if the bore is smaller you probably know someone with a lathe. Maybe a SEIKO hand wheel.

I don't know about that... but I know when I got the machine to rebuild the plastic part of the hand wheel was smashed during shipping. There wasn't much to it, it just screwed to the end of the main metal wheel. I do recall looking the part up, finding a source etc. It's here somewhere.....

Ok. The correct part # is 0367100424. Universal Sewing Supply can special order it for less than $100. They have it listed on the website as original.
