Members klaykrusher Posted June 9, 2016 Author Members Report Posted June 9, 2016 Ooops, sorry....for a Cobra4. Not sure what you mean by series though. Quote ~Dave
Members klaykrusher Posted June 9, 2016 Author Members Report Posted June 9, 2016 Chisel point 794 if that is the series Quote ~Dave
Contributing Member JLSleather Posted June 9, 2016 Contributing Member Report Posted June 9, 2016 (edited) Truth be told, I don't know what I mean, neither. But that's a 794 needle I like the LL point needles. Aint gotno 25's though.. just lots of 24's. I ordered some in 25 from wuna the boys around here, but instead I got "D" point and a story about how it's the 'same thing' Did I mention I want the LL points? Members klaykrusher Posted June 9, 2016 Author Members Report Posted June 9, 2016 I'll have to do some searchin'. I believe I'm using the #25 LR right now with 277/207 or 277 top/bottom. My Cobra doesn't seem to like the #24 as it will randomly skip stitches with that and I don't want to have to pull thread out of an entire belt again......ever.....hahahaha..... Quote ~Dave
Contributing Member JLSleather Posted June 9, 2016 Contributing Member Report Posted June 9, 2016 Yeah, I been there with the backin' out stitches I'm using a c4 too, but somehow I get a project done ocassionally ANYWAY. I bought it back when I didn't know any better, and while I aint proud of my mistake, I just mention it to let you know taht you CAN run 277 thread with a 24 needle. I do it all the time.. HATE those holes left by teh #25 needle.. always worry I'll fall in one of them gaping holes ... 24 with 277 at about 6spi Quote "Observation is 9/10 of the law." Members klaykrusher Posted June 9, 2016 Author Members Report Posted June 9, 2016 I hear ya, after much crying, pleading, begging and kicking the dog I finally got my C4's tension down to where it's purring like a disgruntled cat. So no hiccups with the #25 yet. I do hammer the stitching down after I'm done, so the holes seem to close up a bit. I found this link so will give them a try. They have both 24 and 25 available.
