KBCustom Report post Posted July 25, 2016 Hello everyone, I wanted to get some feedback back on an issue I'm having with a particular order I'm working on right now. I've been casing my leather, but since this is a rather time consuming order it's had to sit for an extended amount of time. Problem is, it has developed what I can only assume is mold on the back side of the leather. I have contact paper on it as well. If anyone has had a similar issue I would like to hear what can be done or maybe it's really nothing to worry about since it's just on the back side. Northmount Report post Posted July 25, 2016 You definitely don't want mould in your shop, so need to get it cleaned up. I found oxalic acid removes the mould and stain. TonyRV2 Report post Posted July 26, 2016 Its hard to tell from the photo how big the piece is, but can it be put in a large ziploc bag and stored in the refrigerator in between tooling sessions?
