Market isn't huge on Dobro Straps, Banjo and Mandolin straps are a medium volume market, guitar straps are a large volume market however, it's flooded with people and companies that make guitar straps. Chief I'm not looking to make any money at this, its more of a hobby than anything else for me. I make knives and sheaths for folks I know and once and a while I do a custom order for someone through word of mouth. Guitar straps would be the same way. I know a lot of musicians having played keyboards in bands for much of the last 40 or so years and making guitar straps would be a natural fit for me just to give me another avenue to pursue the hobby. Thanks for posting your pictures, perhaps someday in the distant future I will have acquired those kind of skills too.
