Solving curly laces

Im making laces with a rotary lace maker but the laces are curly. My wife wants to make necklace but doesnt like the curly look. Any ways to straighten it ?

First thing I would try would be to dampen it, lay it out straight and put some weight on it.  Give it a day and see what happens.

If you want straight lace you have to cut a straight piece like you are cutting a belt blank

Getting them wet and pulling them around something  round like a dowel held in a vice will remove most of the curl.

What leather are they? With Roo after they are cut ya have to stretch em then ya can finish the lace however you want. The stretching also finds any weak  links.
