Custom high quality clicker blades

Does anyone know of a custom blade/knife maker that makes a quality replacement blade for a clicker knife?

This guy makes a nice looking clicker knife with a permanent blade. I haven't bought one but have read some satisfied reviews here.

Thanks bikermutt, I have seen his knives and will most likely buy 1 or 2. I'm looking for a cheaper way. I found a guy that makes clicker blades that fit Tandys, SLC, CS Osborne and probably other bodies. I haven't decided if putting a $25 blade in a $2 body is worth it in the long run. I may just bite the bullet and buy 2 quality knives and call it a day.

Thanks Matts but I'm going a different direction. I usually cheap out but I need a quality knife for pattern cutting, i'm going custom after the 1st of the year.

I've been looking for a bit of advice on sharpening clicker knife blades.  

I love my new clicker knife, but would be happier to be able to get a bit extra life out of each blade.   Having difficulty sharpening, as my technique is garbage. :-(

Lumpen, that is the very reason I ordered a Knip French Model knife. I had a clicker knife also, it was difficult to sharpen and wouldn't hold an edge.

Having got mine for Xmas, there is a little stubborn Lumpen inside me determined not to give up on it

A clicker with a straight cutting edge, such as L'Indispensible isn't too terribly hard to sharpen with a flat stone or sandpaper and strop.   The curved kind is a different story, and easiest to sharpen using a ceramic rod sharpener and a strop made of a piece of dowel rod with some leather glued on and of course some sort of polish compound.

I was watching Bill Cheney sharpen his on youtube. It had a flexible blade. He just ran it backwards a few times on various stones and stropped it.

Looked simple enough. I don't imagine the knipknife is going to be that flexible though?

I made my "Clicker Knife" handles from Brass. I gave "The Knipper" a cheap blade to copy. One straight and one curved. I strop mine before each use, have had for over a year and never sharpened.

Be aware that he is very busy and he may also not be too happy with me for saying he made those.

The small round knife I bought from him is the best one of about four I have.

Yep, he's busy. He had to raise his prices in January. I contacted him in December and he said at least 6 weeks.
