Hi from Vietnam

Recommended Posts

Hi everybody,

I am new to this forum and been for 16 years a leather crafter.

I am from France but living in Vietnam with my wife and kid for the last 10 years. I have co-founded a shoe and leather good business here in Saigon.

Glad to learn and share what I know on this forum.

Cheers,

Alex

I don't have much to post. I do this for a hobby and haven't made a lot of stuff yet.

Here are some wuta pattern wallets I've done.

Hi here is some of my work. These last few years I have mainly been into small leather goods and I have also recently launched a pattern store for the leather crafters (I am progressively adding more styles) and a Youtube channel

Cheers

What type of dye did you use on the belt mate . and how did you apply it .

Dyes are from Kenda Farben an Italian leather finishing product company. The dye is applied with a piece of foam.

I'm subscribed to you on YouTube even before I saw this post, lol. Can I ask, what thickness leather did you use for that small card holder?

Beautiful work and great tutorials: thank you for posting! I was watching the one about the leather watch strap: where have you bought your skiver (Nippy NP-202)? Does it have a vacuum device?

Thanks! I purchased it from Japan,  unfortunately no vacuum deviced attached which can be problematic for big production but fine for small artisan workshop.
