Holster #2, a little better

Recommended Posts

Finished up holster #2 this weekend.  Did a few things differently.  This is an avenger holster for an xds with mag carrier.  Thanks to JLS for the fantastic pattern.

That's a bit smoother.  Just a tip...  you may find it's beneficial NOT to crank that curve into the back "fin" of the avenger.  I know them sensitive types like to see it that way, but truth is it conceals far better if you let the belt pull it -- and the pistol grip -- in to the body. ;)  If you wear it "at the appendix", maybe don't matter, but the farther back, the bigger the benefit.

That's a great tip, thanks!!  Oh, and 50% water with the resolene looks much better!!

Oh, yeah.. full-strength resolene is spelled C- A- K- E-   ;)

Much better to let the leather shine.. not the wax on top of it!
