Excluding Eco-Flo, what dye brand makes the prettiest, truest purple?  I'm afraid of ending up with something that looks like grape Kool-Aid.

Edit: while I'm at it, does anyone know who makes a pretty teal and turquoise?

I just started using fiebings spirit dye in purple this was 50/50 with water.

This is what it looks like after a tiny bit of neatsfoot oil.

I haven't used the other colors.

I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with.

Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day.

From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.

I think you will have a hard time getting a true and bright purple due to the color of the leather you start with.  Fiebings and Angelus are the only I know of.  I would definitely try to use a really pale leather to start with.
