Members Dave Richardson Posted January 16, 2017 Members Report Posted January 16, 2017 So I found this little derringer last week and the salesman made me buy it. I wanted to be able to carry it without covering it up. I had a side of econo vegi tan from Weavers in 7-8 oz and thats what I used. does not color well. does not tool well, forms pretty good. Since it is for myself I can except a few flaws. I included some WIP pics to show how it went together. Thanks for looking and comments are always welcome.. MikeG Posted January 16, 2017 Report Posted January 16, 2017 Nicely done - I have something similar for a little Kel-Tec. I really like to be able to carry without drawing attention. Mine is cut down a little more so it is easier to get hold of. Quote
Members Mattsbagger Posted January 16, 2017 Members Report Posted January 16, 2017 Other than wanting it cut down to get a hold of weapon. It's awesome. Looks like a tool case or phone case. Shouldn't draw attention. Quote
bikermutt07 Posted January 17, 2017 Report Posted January 17, 2017 It looks great, but I think it would make people come up and ask about it. Great job. Quote I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.
