My version of a leather valet tray, made from some leather scraps. Easy, fun stuff to make, also good as a gift - IMO.

Nice design Gigi and the folded edge came out well and saves a lot of edge coat time I think.

Just curious which machine you stitched up with? The bottom and top look similar size thread and quite equal in angle/tension. I would have guessed a bigger machine than a 335. Just got a Cowboy 441 to try out as I hate changing bobbins so much. I'll let you know how she goes when I get it sorted out a bit more. Small LR needles and threads over here are a big challenge.Regards Brian

It is sewn with the Pfaff 335, NM120 size needle, using a flat-bed attachment recently made. BTW that is the first time using titanium coated needles Gebedur - no problems so far. Thread is 'Coats Epic Supermax' - Tkt30 (Tex 105).

Yeah: I hate the small bobbin too: we made a 'stand-alone' bobbin-winder and I use it to prepare the bobbins. This is what I love about the Duerkopp 239-525 (my other machine): large bobbins, it is a flat-bed machine though...

Good luck with the 441! Comes with a lot of extras/attachments? I am curious about the capabilities of a heavy duty machine too: never tried one. (first time I've seen one was in 2010 in St.Louis Missouri and it was a Cobra).
