The blade is very sharp, it is oiled up and ready to split. It was an impulse buy on my part. I haven't used it much as I thought I would, since I bought it. Feel free to send me a message if you have any questions about it. I'm willing to sell it for $1100 (not including shipping) I paid $1395 +tax for it. If you live in the Dallas, Texas area you are more than welcome to come check it out or pick it up. I will be willing to ship, at the buyers expense.
