Members Kd Custom Posted March 28, 2017 Members Report Posted March 28, 2017 I need your help! I used a bottle of older dye I had, Eco-flow all in one chocolate cherry. Customer loved the sheath so much he ordered two more. One of them will be the same color that I have run out of. Also found out its discontinued, does anyone know of a source?? I would be open to matching the color as well if someone has an idea what would be close. Thanks!! Derek Quote
Members cjartist Posted March 28, 2017 Members Report Posted March 28, 2017 If you have a bunch of dye to play around with, I would try mixing a little mahogany with one of the lighter tans (canyon, desert, or prairie). Fiebings medium brown has a bit of a red hue to it also but it too would need to be mixed with a tan I would guess. Quote
Members Mattsbagger Posted December 14, 2017 Members Report Posted December 14, 2017 I'm thinking Fiebing Mahagony would work. I got someone who want the Chocolate cherry also. Thoughts? Quote
Members YinTx Posted December 14, 2017 Members Report Posted December 14, 2017 Could you maybe mix the fudge brown with a little bit of the cherry? This is an "all in one" dye and antique, so just using a Fiebing dye wouldn't do it, you'd have to dye and antique... YinTx Quote
Members Mattsbagger Posted December 15, 2017 Members Report Posted December 15, 2017 I've never used the all in one stuff. There is no stamping or tooling on the wallet. I think it was just the color he was looking at. Mahagony will be close enough I think. Quote
