Members leesfive Posted March 30, 2017 Members Report Posted March 30, 2017 Hey people~! I use vegi tan leather which bought from local shop in los angeles. I think the leather quality is not good enough. and need to make it more stronger from scratch and sun light. i use neetfoot oil and carat essence for finish.but i don't think it's enough. I like the leather quality of http://www.thepremoworkshop.com/ . Could you recommend any finishes or the method [or leather which i can buy from Online]?? Thank you~!! Quote
Members johnv474 Posted April 6, 2017 Members Report Posted April 6, 2017 I don't understand what you are trying to do. You want your leather not to scratch? What effect is sunlight having that you don't want? Are you trying to find out where Premo gets their leather from? Do you think their leathers do not have the same issues yours do? Or are you just looking for a new source for veg tan leather? There are many. Quote
Members Halitech Posted April 7, 2017 Members Report Posted April 7, 2017 not sure what carat essence is but neatsfoot oil is not a finish. A finish is something like resolene, tankote and supershene. And if you want better quality products, start with better quality leather. Springfield leather is one, weaver leather another, or go big and order direct from the tanneries Quote
