Members mggrraanntt Posted April 26, 2017 Members Report Posted April 26, 2017 Hi there, I've attached a photo of the back of some of my stitching. The front, I am happy with but the back seems to have stretched or rippled the leather as you can see in the photo. Have I been pulling the thread too hard to cause this? Any help on making it look neater would be appreciated. Thanks. Quote
Members YinTx Posted April 26, 2017 Members Report Posted April 26, 2017 It does appear to be pulled a bit tight. Give it a tap with a hammer to flatten it out and the wrinkles may go away. Stitching looks really good tho! Many struggle to get the back to have a nice slant like that. YinTx Quote

Members Chief Filipino Posted April 27, 2017 Members Report Posted April 27, 2017 You could also try a stitch groove on the next project, that may eliminate the wrinkling issue. Doesn't help you on this one though Quote
