Hi there,

I've attached a photo of the back of some of my stitching. The front, I am happy with but the back seems to have stretched or rippled the leather as you can see in the photo.

Have I been pulling the thread too hard to cause this?

Any help on making it look neater would be appreciated.

It does appear to be pulled a bit tight.  Give it a tap with a hammer to flatten it out and the wrinkles may go away.  Stitching looks really good tho!  Many struggle to get the back to have a nice slant like that.

You could also try a stitch groove on the next project, that may eliminate the wrinkling issue. Doesn't help you on this one though
