As A: there are a lot of pics and B: to large for this site and today my arms are killing me from doing the touch up work on the corset and lacing and all that good jazz I am being lazy lol so here is the url for the corset. A lot of rivets though I do have to get a better picture of the rivets to show off the textrure of them as they are textured rivets from tandy!

That looks like it was a lot of work!  It came together really nice.

What weight of leather do you use for something like that, and do you put a lot of neetsfoot oil to make it flexible?  Or is it better off stiff?

The weight for most of the corsets I make range from 4 to 6 0z normaly I try to stick with 5 to 6 oz veg tan leather, makes it so I do not need to make boning channels. And It is a little better off stiff so that it molds to the person who wears it over time. But to bend the side seams I just soak the hell out of the back with water, bend it into shape and either stitch it or rivet it. Normally I do not even glue the pieces together I normally (if using rivets) punch the first side with how ever many holes I want, then draw a half inch line along the seam on the back of the second piece line the top piece up, punch the top hole, do the same with the bottom then slowly start to force the leather in place lining the side seam up with that half inch line I drew on the back of the second panel I am working with, slowly marking the holes out on the new piece forcing the leather to bend the way I want then rivet the hell out of it lol.

That's awesome! Like the dragonscale chainmaile on the sides.

Thanks been wanting to do something like this for a while with chainmail the trick was making sure that the chainmail panels stayed off the waist and hips, it moves nice and everything just was worried that the stitching would not last with the chainmail pulling on it
