My Hand-Tooled Harley Trike Saddle (in progress)

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone, I've been making myself a new saddle and Pillion pad for the arrival of our HarleyTrike in September. The last seat I made and showed on this forum was about 10 years ago!

This is far more complex and I'm really enjoying getting back into Leatherwork now I have the time. I've designed everything myself and now finished the tooling. I will lace the passenger pad now with 5mm Kangaroo Lace. I intend to paint/highlight some of the design details by brush before final lacing of the saddle and moulding to the seat base. Then I will airbrush to finish.

Here's some pictures of my work so far.

Thank you. Just started to lace the Pillion pad which is tricky but it's all going well. I'll post some further pics once I make more serious progress.
