Clamp with built in grooves for stitching leather gloves

Hello!

I'm looking for one of these clamps that has built in holes or grooves to help sew thin leather evenly.

However I'm planning to use a whip stitch in stead but it should be the same thing.

That's interesting. It has grooves that set the stitch line. I'll have to make something like that. Never seen one for sale. Thanks for the video.

I'm looking into making my self however I don't have any tools for making equipment like this. I was thinking I could find some kind of comb like object that I can modify to fit on a regular stitching clamp. Was thinking to use two combs and file down the teeth.

Very interesting tool... I bet you could use the blades off electric horse clippers
