These are my first two leather projects. The water bottle holder is made out of an old belt. The knife sheath is made out of an old revolver holster I had laying around.

I really enjoyed making these; I definitely want to make more leather stuff now. Just trying to find tools, hardware, and leather I can afford...

Nice work, love the water bottle holder, and great to be able to recycle the old belt

Forgive me, but the back view looks like an old military rifle sling. Is that possibly so?

Really like the projects! Form and function over fancy!!

The sling is an old rifle sling. The water bottle holder was made entirely out of a single belt. (The hardware was recycled from a ww2 gas mask bag that was dry rotted, so I salvaged all the metal bits.)
