toasterburn Report post Posted July 31, 2017 (edited) These are my first two leather projects. The water bottle holder is made out of an old belt. The knife sheath is made out of an old revolver holster I had laying around. I really enjoyed making these; I definitely want to make more leather stuff now. Just trying to find tools, hardware, and leather I can afford... Edited July 31, 2017 by toasterburn

motocouture Report post Posted August 1, 2017 Nice work, love the water bottle holder, and great to be able to recycle the old belt
x101airborne Report post Posted August 1, 2017 Forgive me, but the back view looks like an old military rifle sling. Is that possibly so? Really like the projects! Form and function over fancy!!

Really like the projects! Form and function over fancy!! The sling is an old rifle sling. The water bottle holder was made entirely out of a single belt. (The hardware was recycled from a ww2 gas mask bag that was dry rotted, so I salvaged all the metal bits.) Edited August 1, 2017 by toasterburn
