I think the antiquing looks great. Coasters can be a learning experience. I made this one as a kind of "calling card", then discovered that when the bottom of the glass gets wet...it causes the coaster to get picked up with the coaster! So every other one I've made had some texture on the whole surface. Gotta love unexpected results! What weight of leather did you use? Good job! Members JMcC Posted January 9, 2018 Members Report Posted January 9, 2018 Yin, great job on the figure carving sir. I have one small suggestion...the beveling on the horns where they meet the skull looks a little heavy to me. It gives the appearance that the horns are almost to the point of falling off. Just my opinion for what it's worth. Keep up the good work Yin! James Quote

Yea I tend to like a thicker coaster I thing I might get a piece of 14/15 oz leather for tooling purposes Quote If you can live, thank god If you can read, thank a teacher If you can read this in English, thank a veteran May God Bless, Carson of C Hangin Diamond Leather and Catte Company

Couldn't undo it at the time tho. Haven't had a chance for version 2 either! And thanks for the compliment.
