Made for a friend of mine who is ex-US special forces and has a few of my sheaths and holsters and keeps coming back for more....

3 layers 10-11 oz at the welt. Hand stitched.

That's really nice. Never thought to make an avenger type sheath but I just might try one now!

thanks and yes the loop on the back helps since where it would sit cross draw around 10-11  o-clock is more difficult to wrap around the hip bone if it had 2 wings.

Thank you for posting this! I made that pancake a while back for my first project and it's drove me nuts trying to get it to sit where I want it. Now I know why!!!

Just seems to have helped me when I make these. I am a 34 waist (at the belt and perhaps 38 just above it!!) but Rick is much bigger and he says it helps too so... worth a try. good luck with the next one.

Pancake works great on the strong side like this one worn from 230 as far back as 430:
