PatrickSews Report post Posted September 24, 2017 (edited) I have a 20 ton Sandt 406 swing head hydraulic clicker press that just sits there, and I sit at my desk looking at it. Its getting old. So I am offering my services doing clicking for you, if you need some done. I used to buy leather from Ohio, have it sent to Kentucky for clicking and then finally get to see it when it arrived in Wisconsin, but I eliminated the middle man a few years ago buying this paperweight from hell. It may also be for sale, if someone has a kind offer. Located in Monticello, WI Edited September 24, 2017 by PatrickSews
Mattsbagger Report post Posted September 24, 2017 Man I wish I still lived in Wautoma instead of Colorado Springs. I would have definitely taken you up on the clicking offer.
PatrickSews Report post Posted September 24, 2017 (edited) Funny story (ha ha my ass) I had to buy my own clicker after the Amish at Weaver Leather declared they would NOT do my clicking, even use the very dies they themselves made for me, because these were not HUMANE restraints but instead the fun kind of wrist & ankle restraint. I had a client who requested a specific product which ultimately required clicking, and in the end had to spend $4000 getting one for myself. Now, I cannot seem to rid myself of the thing. I can still use it with my own few dies though, if someone ever ordered one of my leather slings again. Its been a long time since my last Notification Of Payment Received after someone clicked that Buy Now! button via PayPal. hell, for several years, PayPay refused to allow me on board. "Adult Stuff", they claimed. Peter Thiel can stuff himself. Edited September 24, 2017 by PatrickSews
WoodysWorkshop Report post Posted September 24, 2017 Looks similar to the machine I first use when I cut pig skin gloves for Wolverine here in Reed City, MI between 1978-1982. Does this thing bring back memories! Long hot days and low pay.... (I didn't say good memories!)
blue62 Report post Posted November 3, 2017 How much are you asking for the clicker? Thanks
