Willie0 Report post Posted September 28, 2017 My tool addiction is getting out of hand, and I needed space for the stamps I made last weekend. I made a "pocket" to attach to my stamp rack that ought to look kind of nice as a background for project photos in the future.
ByNelson Report post Posted September 28, 2017 That's really cool! I wish I could make stamps but my skill lies elsewhere
plinkercases Report post Posted September 28, 2017 Bolt head stamps!!! Stohlman would be proud of you. Do you use files and/or Dremel or a combo to create the patterns? I would love to see what you stamps look like on leather.
Willie0 Report post Posted September 28, 2017 I used a hacksaw, bench grinder, a dremel and some needle files. They didn't really take very long to make. They are crude and fun, and make me appreciate finely made precise stamps. This is what they look like:
Reegesc Report post Posted September 28, 2017 Those are excellent stamps. I've been wanting to make some myself for quite some time and now seeing what is possible with yours ....well, looks like I'm off to Home Depot. So many projects, so little time.
