I know quite a few of you guys are making fire service leather items. Here is my first big order I had received, and it turned out pretty darn good. Any advice for a newbie?

Thanks Chris. Almost 8 hours of paint to get it perfect.

Also where did you find the elastic snap?

You have to make them from scratch. I use line 24 snaps on 1" leather strip. Just get thinner leather or the standard 24 snap won't work.

Where did you get the stamp for that?

But it looks very solid , very impressive. Im a firefighter, done a bunch of helmet fronts but haven't gotten into radio holders yet , next on the list

Thank you! I CNC them, but I'm currently trying to get into making shields. I have gotten some help from guys on here, and it's been great. I just have to get a sewing machine and I'll be set...
