Greetings all!

Brand new to leathercraft and the forums too (N00b alert). I was hoping someone could enlighten me or at least point me in the right direction of how this particular pattern/tooling is done. I am just starting out re-leathering Championship Belts (Nerd, I know...)...And I haven't been able to figure out how the tooling is done around the snap-box (far right) of this particular belt and many others like it. Is this a kind of stamp pattern or is it done with a beveler tool, or maybe both? If anyone could shed some light, I'd be very grateful.

Thank you so much!

SH

I'm no expert on WWE/WWF belts but looks to me like they used a beveller and a background/matting tool to do the interior
