Members Horsemint Posted December 6, 2017 Members Report Posted December 6, 2017 Hi all... I've been doing my own tack repairs, dog collars and other small projects for a couple years as I've needed them (and lurking here for insight). I love seeing something I've made standing up to heavy duty use! Recently I've been more serious about it (putting together an actual, real workbench that's not the kitchen table will do that) and have also started playing around with carving, so I thought I'd introduce myself and seek feedback here and there. Glad to be here. Here's some miscellaneous stuff I've done this year: Slobbers (Replacement center section for figure 8 hobbles) Practice carving Quote
Mjolnir Posted January 6, 2018 Report Posted January 6, 2018 nice work. I like the texture of your dye work. Quote He attacked everything in life with a mix of extraordinary genius and naive incompetence, and it was often difficult to tell which was which. Douglas Adams
bikermutt07 Posted January 6, 2018 Report Posted January 6, 2018 I like your stuff. What part of of the Eastern Great Republic are you located? I'm a transplant living in (ugghhh) Shreveport area. Quote I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.
