Here is the scenario you have a finished product. The clients industry has a policy that any outer garment or accessory must be sanitized between each use. What would be an effective/efficient product or procedure I should recommend?

being leather is/was a living creature, leather is porous so it's not easy to sanitize. Best you could hope for would be to completely dip the item in something like tan kote multiple times to seal it and then they could try to wipe it with a sanitizer. I'd do a test before selling any products though.

Historically gases were used for sanitizing something which could not be dipped or wiped, including sulfur dioxide and other nasty chemicals.
