These showed up in our front yard this morning and stayed for nearly 2 hours.  First we've had in several years.  I think our neighbor has kept them thinned out.

If I was two years younger, I run down that bigger one and snap his neck :rolleyes2:

I see a couple deep freezers for meat, a new rug for my den, some hide to tan, antlers and bone for knife handles and a bone folder or two! So many endless possibilities there

P.S. if you sand bone or antler wear a respirator!

I'd have to be 60 years younger to even think about it.

No antlers on any of those.  Might be a buck among them, but if so he hasn't got his antlers back yet.

@olfart

You are correct on that, all does. I didn't expand the pictue, thank you for calling me on that! I am not being smart either, I hate being ignorant or arrogant so I really do appreciate when people correct me.

(Note to self; expand all photos and take good look before commenting!)

I usually keep a pair of binoculars on the bookcase, but apparently they migrated to the car while I wasn't looking.  I wanted to check the plumbing on those deer to see if there were any bucks, but no such luck.  Maybe next time.

Funny, there are deer everywhere on the island I live on.  One Island over I've never seen one.  No hunters here and a ton over there.  Strange.

BTW.  How is deer hide to work with?

Never having skinned a deer, I have no idea.
