Kenl Report post Posted March 15, 2018 (edited) I drove up to Toledo and picked up my CB 3200 yesterday. Thanks Bob for showing me the basics on the machine. A lot to learn. It was marking g up the top side of the leather. Finally got that corrected. Now to learn how to sew. LOL I believe it is going to be a great machine. alpha2 Report post Posted March 15, 2018 We know you meant "marking". What I found when I got a new machine from Bob...if I didn't have anything to sew, I was despondent until I had something to sew again! You may find when you get other various feet and such, you have to some grinding/filing/sanding/bending to get them to fit. There's a reason these are known as "Juki knock-offs". The fit and finish leaves something to be desired. Part of the savings, that's all. For instance, this is what I got as a presser foot. Slightly askew, eh what? Nothing I couldn't fix. Kenl Report post Posted March 15, 2018 (edited) Wow I see what you mean. Most of mine was just like you said a file and sandpaper job. By the way did you notch your needle foot? Thinking about doing that to mine. Edited March 15, 2018 by Kenl

Jeff Looks just like mine when I received it! A little filing brought it square - I also notched my needle foot - makes it much easier to see where needle is going to hit - just have to be careful when holding threads at start of stitching - I learned the hard way that if the thread slips outside the foot and you are pulling the needle to the side it will hit the needle foot with bad results! alpha2 Report post Posted March 16, 2018 As you can see, I took a Dremel to the needle foot too. BIG help.
