Ragingstallion Report post Posted June 10, 2018 Well, decided to look up any forums I could find on leather working, and luckily this one is still in use. Wanted to say hi from the outdoor state of Idaho. I have been into leather most of my life, but only within the last year, maybe not even that long did I start working with leather. I use to think my classic vehicles took all my money, now.....leather working does. I mostly do projects for myself, a few for family members, and have done two commissions so far for friends. In all honesty, I have not done many projects all together. But since family and friends seem to like what I do, I guess I am alright at it, but there are so many more things that I could be better at or that I have not learned how to do yet. So I am here to get help, as well as provide any help I can give with what little I know. Adding a couple of projects to this post. one of my personal archery bracer which I love how it turned out. The other is a fancy collar for my girl Saya (sigh-ya).
Rockoboy Report post Posted June 11, 2018 Your projects look really good. I like the dog collar with the cut-outs, but I would really like to get a closer look at your arm bracer. Some extra fine work there. How have you done the horse heads?

As for a close up, this is the best I can do, as I have not taken any new pictures this was right after I finished it. Also, my own personal wrist cuffs that I finished last week. Really love the way these turned out.

Rockoboy Report post Posted June 12, 2018 Most of my work to date, has been pouches for my tools, a cover for a round knife etc. Its only for me, so the imperfections do not matter. I do have on my bench at the moment, a dog collar for a friends dog. I am still trying to get my head around antique, oils, dyes and finishes. I am hoping to get it finished this week. Pics to follow. I am not exactly sure on navigating around the site, I just cruise in a and check out everything.

Eventually decided the music scent for Irish and Old Time music was a bit limited and winter was not going to be as much fun as Tucson. I used to be a nationally competitive archer, but a serious bicycle accident put an end to that activity. Nice work indeed! Bob
