Well, decided to look up any forums I could find on leather working, and luckily this one is still in use. Wanted to say hi from the outdoor state of Idaho.

I have been into leather most of my life, but only within the last year, maybe not even that long did I start working with leather. I use to think my classic vehicles took all my money, now.....leather working does. I mostly do projects for myself, a few for family members, and have done two commissions so far for friends. In all honesty, I have not done many projects all together. But since family and friends seem to like what I do, I guess I am alright at it, but there are so many more things that I could be better at or that I have not learned how to do yet. So I am here to get help, as well as provide any help I can give with what little I know.

Adding a couple of projects to this post. one of my personal archery bracer which I love how it turned out. The other is a fancy collar for my girl Saya (sigh-ya).

Almost moved to Boise a couple years ago and spent the summer on the North End and McCall. Eventually decided the music scent for Irish and Old Time music was a bit limited and winter was not going to be as much fun as Tucson. I used to be a nationally competitive archer, but a serious bicycle accident put an end to that activity.

Nice work indeed!

Bob
