Overcoming a buzzkill?

In the middle of some wallet projects as gifts 5b2423b6e1562_2018-06-1513_37_52.jpg.cadccd70056687aacc358e8ce0b49379.jpg

But I just came across https://srcc.store

And now I'm so impressed by their designs I'm pissed. Legitimately upset how good those are. How well thought out all of their products are.

So the store has good designs.

Your wallet parts look good too.  I think if it was done and sitting next to theirs I would take a closer look at yours first. What's the problem?  :)

The economy or space and the thoughtfulness of daily use is amazing. Their bag designs as well. I'm just blown away with the simplistic looking but overly engineered of it all.

also don't look closer at mine! it won't hold up

First of all, you are always going to find someone you believe is more talented than you, so don't sweat it.  Second, I agree with Rodney, your work looks great.  I think once you get past the cool looks, the wallet is sort of gimmicky.  At least to me.  Not saying they aren't well thought out, but I'm not a coin purse guy and I am skeptical that the coins are going to lay so nice in the wallet compartment.  Maybe they do.

Not a fan of their bags at all.  So it just goes to show you, taste is very personal and that is why variety is so important.

BTW, I play golf.  When I hit a good shot, I am very happy.  I don't think to myself, "yeah, but Tiger Woods would have hit it better.  Don't compare.  Aim high but be the best you can be.

Think how boring the world would be without different designs. Personal preference- I like the look of yours better, but theirs look good too.

Much agree! Don't cut your self short!  Besides, made in the USA  goes a long way for quality and longevity of product!
