Simple and almost indestructible, spare blades are still available here in Germany. But it seems the cover of the lower part is missing (compare with photo below). I found a "Rudo" which is Fenda's big brother, but haven't received it yet (so no experience yet). How much did you pay if I may ask? Even a used one in good condition is bloody expensive here... pepegc Report post Posted January 2, 2021 Hello, I just purchased a Fenda 6" for the equivalent to ~140 USD! It does need some maintenance and the casting broke and was repaired at some point in the past, but it looks solid. Does anyone have documentation on this machine? Joerg mentioned the blades are still sold in Germany, could you point me in the right direction? thank you, best wishes
Cumberland Highpower Report post Posted February 28, 2021 They're a pretty good splitter. I suspect standard 6" blades from Randall will fit or can be made to fit. I have one of these Fendas that I used a few times that was factory built as a motorized splitter, no cranking required. I used it for something specific until I acquired a UA and now just collects dust...
Leatherfrog Report post Posted April 20, 2021 Hello, I purchased the leather splitter FENDA made by RAFFLENBEUL a few days ago. I have no experience with this tool and I wonder how to adjust the rollers correctly. The gap between lower roller and upper roller is approx. 12 mm, means too much to work with. I have to bring the rollers more together and near to the blade. Can anybody help with a manual / instruction how to adjust the rollers, please? Best regards, Andreas from Dortmund, Germany
