Members yasin671589 Posted August 11, 2018 Members Report Posted August 11, 2018 First, I'm new on this forum and new on leatherwork. I found a Ottoman Mauser bandolier. I will copy it and reproduce, everything is okay but I can't identify the stitching method on bullet loops ? This is an original bandolier that made in probably 1918-1923. So that's it, how can I do this stitching ? İt has any names ? Or what's the best way stitching the bullet loops. Thanks Quote
Members plinkercases Posted August 11, 2018 Members Report Posted August 11, 2018 it looks like a variation on what I was taught was called a fisherman's running knot but with an extras "loop" at each intersection. I will see if I can figure out how to draw what I think it is. Quote
