Members Sambishop16 Posted August 30, 2018 Members Report Posted August 30, 2018 Hello- We recently purchased a used Singer 7-34 and we are having a tough time finding the type of needles to purchase for replacements. We also haven't had any luck tracking down a manual. Does anyone know what needle size this machine might take or where a person could track down a manual? thanks! Quote
Members DennisT Posted August 30, 2018 Members Report Posted August 30, 2018 (edited) I don't know much outside of google but ismacs says 7x1 or 7x2. I found some for sale at techsew. I found a parts list here An old thread form here Edited August 30, 2018 by DennisT Quote
Members shoepatcher Posted August 30, 2018 Members Report Posted August 30, 2018 The 794 needle system is about the same as the 7x1,7x2 needles. I think they are better because they have the needle scarf above the eye that allow you to get the hook closer to the needle, hence less missed stitches. The system 794 are available in a lot of sizes and they make different leather tips as well. I guess the round points are now available in titanium coating which really makes sense. glenn Quote
