Any experience out there using M&G as a resist (perhaps at 100% strength versus 50/50 for a finish)?

I use it at a 50/50 ratio with water,it does pretty good. Cheap enough to buy a jug and try it out

Albob ksut soni am.clear you use it 50/50 as a dye resist? This is what i am curious about and how well it works esxpecially when applying dark dyes over it.

I already use it 50/50 as a top finish and am pleased with it.

I use it as a antique resist and as a finish on about everything else. When using it for the antique I let it dry a while then ad a second coat and then let it dry good hour before applying the antique. I can't speak to using it as a dye resist though. Let us know if you try it out.
