CB 3200 Self build, what do I do?

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys I'm about to buy a CB 3200 and was wondering should I get it already assembled or assemble it myself the difference in price is €270 what do you reckon is it rocket science or should I pay the money and have at it.

When I had my embroidery company I often had to get the nearest engineer on type from Nottingham and that incurred a £400 cost for traveling both ways, I would guess most of the £270 is travel time and worth the money,

I would definitely want to see a test on my machine before I paid for it be it assembled at the companies warehouse or at my premise, if it just comes unpacked and original tape still on then you know the supplier has not even looked at it so get a new supplier who checks it out before they sell it, its not like your buying a £200 home machine

Hi Chrisash

I never thought of it like that. I'm thinking of just paying the money. Right it'll cost me a few shillings but at least I know it's good to go when it lands.

If they are within driving distance, I would go to them. The dealers here in the States are known for helping the customer along as far as showing the ins and outs of the machines.

Then take the head off and store it securely. Flip the table upside down and haul it home. Just four bolts holding the head down. Putting it back together was easy enough for me.
