Juki LU-2810 engineer's manual

Recommended Posts

Anyone have this manual? I looked everywhere.

I "think" the balancer may need a little tweaking but I wanted to find out what factory spec is first.

I've been on the hunt myself, I've got a LU-2810-7 with an underbed trimmer that needs attention.  I'll report back, but so far no dice.

That's the sign of a good dealer saving as much information as possible to be able to advise on a good selection of machines, shows a good interest rather than just a salesman on the current range

Thanks. Since you have a 2810 variant there, can you tell me if there is a significant vibration at one point in it's speed curve?  Mine starts out smooth, hits a resonant oscillation about 700 rpm or so, (ish) which dies back down when I get it above say 1000 rpm. I think the balancer needs a tap one way or another but I don't want to make a jackhammer out of the machine until I at least see what standard spec is.

Contact Luke at M.J.Foley.  They are the master distributor for Juki in America.  They have or can get you the mechanic's manual.  I believe their Phone number is 1-586 948 6070.

My god... it's beautiful. Every sewing machine service manual should have color renderings. It makes it all so clear.

I'd be happy to get my hands on a Pfaff 145 or 545 Engineer's book (svc manual)

That Juki Engineer's Book is a very nice manual.
