Members 5shot Posted October 19, 2018 Members Report Posted October 19, 2018 Wanting to buy a logging boot last. I know what I want, but I'm not sure how to go about purchasing it. Can I just call up J&V and tell them I want a last just like X or do I have to have a design of my own? Or do I need to call a supply house? What I am hoping to get is a reasonable facsimile to a White's #55. Quote
Members Aven Posted October 21, 2018 Members Report Posted October 21, 2018 5shot, check out Lisa Sorrel's website. She sells lasts for several different styles. She might have what you are looking for and can answer your questions. Quote
Members Kulafarmer Posted October 25, 2018 Members Report Posted October 25, 2018 Ditto on contacting Lisa, i got a logger last from her, is special order, got to contact her as its not on the site Quote
Members Hunhunt Posted October 26, 2018 Members Report Posted October 26, 2018 Another option would be to purchase a Munson last which Lisa Sorrel also has available. The Munson last was designed by an army officer in the WWI era for the troops. It provides for a very comfortable shoe/boot and should work fine for the boots you intend to make. Quote
