Prince Report post Posted July 24, 2007 Today was mostly wasted. I got my tippmann boss stitcher in today and am about to go mad trying to set it up properly... stupid thing keeps breaking the thread or nesting up. But I did manage to finish putting buckles on and equipping it to my mannequin for some pics. The tassets and helmet are next...

candyleather Report post Posted July 24, 2007 What astonishing work!!!! Only one suggestion, a proposition for your imagination and creativity: do you like the Star Wars warriors's uniform? Would be difficult make it with leather?
Prince Report post Posted July 24, 2007 Thanks ; ) What astonishing work!!!!Only one suggestion, a proposition for your imagination and creativity: do you like the Star Wars warriors's uniform? Would be difficult make it with leather? Ah yes, the star wars realm. Those being storm troopers. Certainly one -could- make it out of leather but it makes more sense to make it out of fiberglass and/or plastic and there are places out there stamping the full suits out of plastic which looks more movie like with the high gloss smooth finish for people to buy and they certainly sell lol Go to a sci-fi/fantasy convention some time, its a whole new world. To do it with leather it would take ages to wet mold it properly, paint it, etc etc. Thanks for the suggestion though
