texasnewf Report post Posted November 5, 2018 Just wondering what everyone uses for storing their dyes.. I probably have over 20 bottles of various dyes and have had a couple tip over with lid shut and over time some leaked out even though I thought it was tight.. I was thinking about making some wooden box with multiple slots to place them in so they can't turn over.
bermudahwin Report post Posted November 5, 2018 Mine are all in a Really Useful Box, so if they go over they're in a plastic box. Harry
texasnewf Report post Posted November 5, 2018 Hi Harry, Is the Really Useful Box a brand name ? Plastic is definitely the way to go for cleanup Craig

billybopp Report post Posted November 6, 2018 I use some pull-out spice racks that I got on sale for really cheap. 4oz Fiebings bottles fit perfectly, and using a pull-out rack really maximizes space usage in a cabinet. - Bill

My dies are in 20 oz or 32 oz bottles mainly, so that one never even hit my horizon. Edited November 6, 2018 by hwinbermuda smelling pistake
Sheilajeanne Report post Posted November 6, 2018 Mine are in a Rubbermaid container that's just a little taller than the bottles. Same idea- if they tip over and leak, the mess is contained. The ones that are REALLY leaky are also in ziplock bags inside the container.
