OnePivot Report post Posted December 1, 2018 Ive always lined stuff with more veg tan, and that makes finishing the edges pretty easy. Glue, burnish, done! But what do you do about edges when using suede for a liner? My initial thought was to burnish the veg tan edge and just leave the suede as-is, but is there a more attractive option? Thanks in advance!
Rockoboy Report post Posted December 1, 2018 All I have done is either leave it plain or I have used edge paint.
immiketoo Report post Posted December 4, 2018 I have rolled the edge of the suede which was a pain, skived the suede to a feather edge, which was a super pain, I’ve cut the suede just short of the edge and burnish only the veg tan and I’ve used edge paint. Rolled edges are classy, the other two are gambles and edge paint is the easiest and most consistent.
