AKA.... Machine Porn

I thought I'd kick off a thread where we can show off our various versions of the heavy stitchers we have.

Here's my 441 clone.

That is awesome. If you post a machine, could you also post what type of work you do with it. Just for those of us that know squat about machines.

I have the SEWPRO 205 knockoff. I worked on an Adler 205 for years. I can't tell the difference.

LUKE..............You stated you worked on or had a 205 for a couple of years and said you can't see the difference. So, would you recommend a person to buy this machine over, let's say a Juki 441 or Juki clone or a ferdco? What dealer did you use?THANKS,FRYZETTI

Luke,

Does your Sewmo take the same presser feet and needle plates as the Juki 441 clones?

That little green sponge atop my lube pot is Bruce's fantastic idea. I'm even thinking about drilling about three holes underneath that sponge so that the lube will drip back into the pot. Maybe I'll even drill about six very small holes.

Thanks, again, Bruce.

Fryzetti, I would recommend the 205 b/c that is my preference. Some people prefer the Juki. I personally feel that the 205 is a better made machine. As for the dealer i used myself. I used to work for a leather supply in Texas and got the machine from the manufacturer. I sold quite a few of the machines and everybody liked them. They come with a servo motor so quiet that you can't even hear it over the action of the machine. And they cost about $1000.00 less.
