Members Googledave Posted December 30, 2018 Members Report Posted December 30, 2018 Hi all, I just acquired a 155 that was extremely neglected with 60% of all parts frozen solid in a combination of rust, oil and bad repaint ..... I took everything apart and have it all clean and oiled . One question I have is what exactly is the presser lifting eccentric (on the upper shaft) used for and Do I need to set it at a specificway while setting my timing? Right now I have it centered on the shaft and the eccentric itself reinstalled onto the shaft the correct way. My 153 doesn’t have an eccentric just a non adjustable cam.....Thanks, Dave Quote

Uwe Posted January 1, 2019 Report Posted January 1, 2019 I made a video on this topic using a Pfaff. The concept is the same for many other machines. Quote Uwe (pronounced "OOH-vuh" ) Links: Videos
