Matt S Report post Posted January 23, 2019 Welcome Charles. Those old 45s are great machines for heavy work and you got a good price. Yours has reverse, which most machines of that class didn't. You might want to look at upgrading to a digital servo motor, which are far more easily controllable than the old industrial standard clutch motors, which is probably what's mounted on that beast. I have never used an industrial sewing machine so still learning ( I was teaching myself on a durkopp 207 how things work ) but as soon as I have enough experience I want to make some bike seats my whole family is in to motorcycles dad and me is friends with a lot of the mc clubs so you get the idea what I want to make when I have the experience thanks for the welcome Edited January 23, 2019 by charlesfalzon Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
