Members HeidiJSetzer Posted September 10, 2019 Members Report Posted September 10, 2019 I bought a Consew 206rb-3 several months ago and am finally trying to get it up and running. I purchased a Servo Motor from Toledo Industrial Sewing Machines and swapped the old motor and that went great. I am now attempting to adjust everything as I am getting skipped stitches, no stitches and uneven stitches. I do not and cannot find a manual for it but do have the Seiko STH-8BLD-3 manual. Step 8-3 Adjusting feed dog position shows two distances 32.1 and 31.5, which is correct? I have attached the page. Thanks, Heidi Quote
Members Gregg From Keystone Sewing Posted September 10, 2019 Members Report Posted September 10, 2019 I do see two different numbers, either one is going to work fine. The issue is likely elsewhere. If the needle is not centered, that's a different problem. Quote
Members HeidiJSetzer Posted September 12, 2019 Author Members Report Posted September 12, 2019 Gregg, Thanks for your reply!!! I had gone through the whole adjustment process when I first acquired this machine going through the 206rb-5 manual. I was getting some major thread issues and ready to pull my hair out. So, I did the entire process again using the Seiko manual and completed it today. There were a few other differences from manual to manual so I went strictly by the Seiko manual. I tested both fabric and soft leather; so far so good. I am hoping for a great day tomorrow with no further "Help" posts to leatherworker.net, at least for now. Thanks again, Heidi Quote
